SmartHomeQR ("we", "our", or "the app") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our iOS application.

Data Collection

We do not collect any data. SmartHomeQR operates entirely on your device and your personal iCloud account. We have no servers, no analytics, and no way to access your information.

Data Storage

All data you create in SmartHomeQR is stored:

Locally on your device - Your homes, rooms, devices, and QR code images are stored in your device's local storage.
In your iCloud account - If you have iCloud enabled, your data syncs privately through Apple's iCloud service to your other devices. This sync is encrypted and managed entirely by Apple.

Data We Do NOT Collect

Personal information (name, email, phone number)
Location data
Usage analytics or statistics
Device identifiers
Any data from your QR codes or setup codes
Crash reports (unless you choose to share with Apple)

Third-Party Services

SmartHomeQR does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. The only external service used is Apple's iCloud for optional data synchronization, which is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.

Camera and Photo Library

SmartHomeQR requests access to your camera and photo library solely to capture or import QR code images. These images are stored only on your device and iCloud account. We do not transmit these images anywhere else.

Data Deletion

You have complete control over your data:

Delete individual items within the app at any time
Uninstall the app to remove all local data
Manage iCloud data through your device's Settings > [Your Name] > iCloud

Children's Privacy

SmartHomeQR does not knowingly collect any information from children under 13. The app contains no mechanisms to collect personal data from any user.
